This 18ha field of OSR was formulated using the NDVI algorithm to identify the Green Area Index. From this map, variable rate fertiliser plans can be created and exported to VRA compatible machines to place fertiliser more efficiently across a field.
Orthomosaic Maps - Drainage Issues
This Orthomosaic map was created to identify drainage issues within a field, by overlaying the drainage plans over this map it was clear to see where new drains were required.
Weed Mapping - Blackgrass
Weeds can be filtered out from the crop based on the light reflected from the plant. This map shows the filtered out blackgrass across a 25ha field of wheat which helps to identify problem areas and quantify blackgrass population. From this - these areas then need to be ground truthed to disregard any false negatives.

Solar Panel Inspecting
Using a Thermal IR camera, these solar panels installed on a roof show reflected heat from one panel identifying an issue which cannot be seen to the naked eye. Overheating cells can impede the performance of the whole photo voltaic system reducing the energy produced.
This elevation model has been used to identify heights of the buildings and trees as well as the gradient of the surrounding land for architectural design and any future development.
This snapshot of a 3D model shows a 360 view of this farmyard with the ability to zoom in areas to see more detail. This model can then be exported into third party software with file types including JPEG, GeoTiff, OBJ and LAS.
